Many of our friends choose to make gifts on an annual basis to the Thunderbird Fund. These financial gifts are the life line to helping students attend TAA and to special projects on campus that are not part of the regular program but are important because they strengthen the quality of a TAA education. The unrestricted gifts that Thunderbird Adventist Academy receives are very valuable, because we can use those gifts where the need is greatest.
You are invited to become a partner with Thunderbird Adventist Academy as we continue to emphasize spiritual values and provide the best Christ-centered education. By giving today you can make a difference to Thunderbird’s current students.
TYPES OF GIFTS TO THE THUNDERBIRD FUND
Cash Gifts
One of the most common gifts is the unrestricted cash gift. You may give cash, personal checks, or use your credit cards. Your gift to Thunderbird Adventist Academy is tax-deductible as long as no goods or services are exchanged in return for the gift.
Gifts-In-Kind
Non-Cash gifts, such as gifts of computers and technology hardware, office equipment, classroom wish-lists, musical instruments, etc., may be contributed to Thunderbird Adventist Academy. TAA reserves the right to accept or refuse a gift-in-kind. A letter will be provided for those gifts accepted; however, the donor will be responsible for determining the charitable value of the gift.
Matching Gifts
Many corporations or businesses match their employee’s charitable gifts with a contribution of equal or greater value. Obtain and complete your company’s matching gift form and send it with your gift to Thunderbird Adventist Academy.
Check with your employer to see if it has a matching gift program and if your gift qualifies for a corporate match.
Other Types of Gifts
Other gift-giving options are available, such as wills or bequests, life insurance, stock, trust or annuities. For more information about these gifts, contact
alumni@thunderbirdacademy.org at Thunderbird Adventist Academy or Edwin Eisele at the Arizona Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
