Thunderbird Adventist Academy — Supporting TAA

In 2006, Thunderbird Adventist Academy launched a dream to make Christian education available to all of its students. The TAA Scholarship Fund provides a variety of necessary funding to assist more students with financial need to achieve their dream of attending and graduating from TAA.

Donations to the TAA Scholarship Fund are used in helping our students in one of the following areas:

Scholarships based on financial need
Academic scholarships
Student work program
Summer camp & literature ministry match
Church matching plan

During the 2005-2006 school year $130,000 was used in the following areas to help our students attend TAA:

44 students received academy scholarships
70 students had campus jobs
27 students had a church sponsoring them and the school matched their donations
16 students were employed by the Summer Camp or the literature ministry and received matching funds

Today, with the enrollment at 157, which is the largest number of students enrolled in 10 years, we are urgently addressing the need for more student scholarship funds with the following numbers of students depending on these funds to remain in school:

62 students receiving academy scholarships
120 students have on-campus jobs
33 students have a church sponsoring them and TAA matches those donations
22 students worked for the Arizona Conference at summer camp or the literature ministry this past summer and TAA matches their income up to $1000.00

To keep some of our current students in school, we need to raise $160,000. Can you help a leader of tomorrow receive a Christian education today?
