The food service staff at Thunderbird Adventist Academy endeavors to provide attractive, appetizing, and wholesome meals following the principles of healthful living of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. All meals served are based on a vegetarian style diet, accommodations are made for those who prefer a vegan diet.

Dormitory students have three meals per school day and all weekend meals provided with their room and board charges. Non-dormitory students have one lunch meal provided per school day. Non-dormitory students may purchase meal cards in the business office to have the cafeteria meals available to them when on campus.
