Thunderbird Adventist Academy has a number of fun activities every weekend which are planned by the faculty and student groups. The Associated Student Body (ASB) plans several activities, giving everyone in our school community the chance to enjoy themselves after a busy school week.
Many of the Saturday evening activities are planned by the Associated Student Body officers and sponsors. The year began with an evening of water games, fun, and food at the Back-To- School Bash where new students got a chance to meet returning students and staff. Later in the fall, the annual ASB Fall Fest offers another fun entertaining time of socializing as many school groups and organizations offer a wide array of food, games, and booths for students, parents, staff, and friends to enjoy.
Other Saturday evenings, you will find the students enjoying themselves while playing mini golf, riding go-karts or bumper boats at Cracker Jax, or attending professional hockey, basketball, or baseball games.
The dorm clubs are busy with their own type of activities held on campus and off. The Girls Dormitory has Dorm Night each Sunday evening, with a variety of activities being offered to the residents. Both dorms have annual dorm camp outs and spiritual retreats sponsored by Campus Ministries, where the entire group of dormitory residents head for a long weekend of camping fun, socializing, and chances to learn more about their friend and Savior, Jesus Christ.
