Thunderbird Adventist Academy is committed to providing a Christ-centered Seventh-day Adventist educational community for grades 9-12 to ensure that TAA is a good place to: find God and prepare for college; to find friends and prepare for life.
Thunderbird Adventist Academy embraces a philosophy that maintains education is a preparation for life – life in its present and eternal context, recognizing God as the source of all knowledge and wisdom.

- Embraces opportunities to develop an active, personal relationship with God, and shares that relationship with others through outreach and witnessing.
- Uses the Bible and the Seventh-day Adventist principles to make informed life choices.

- Recognizes and values responsibility to society and makes positive contributions to the community.
- Possesses the skills needed for success in life.
- Demonstrates a respect for diversity.
- Demonstrates good stewardship of his/her time, talents and skills.

- Continually seeks a wide and growing knowledge base.
- Is skilled in the application of higher-order thinking skills such as: analysis, synthesis and evaluation.
